Political order in Virocratic government was largely dependent on social integrity, which bounded people together for a common cause. The Praetors, carefully selected from the population by the government, were the main pillar of this integrity, creating a bridge between the authorities and the masses, both in battle and in the everyday life. Stern and loyal Praetors were both feared and admired by the average citizen; they were the ultimate leaders of the warrior caste, but also heavily involved with more mundane politics, constantly reshaping the state in accordance with their extreme Virocratic values.
