For this, Clerics have three special attacks: Clerics may <l:6,29>convert cities<e>, who then send <l:6,92>gold<e> back to their own Civilization; <l:6,30>sell indulgences<e> to converted cities, raising <l:6,96>happiness<e> in return for gold; and <l:6,31>soothsay<e>, inciting unhappiness in the gullible citizens who listen. The Cleric is a <l:6,120>stealth unit<e> (Trade type), which allows him to slip past borders unnoticed. Exercising each of these abilities costs gold.
