Brazillian Plasmaticas, developed in the late 22nd century, were the ultimate cybernetic soldiers of the late Genetic age and retained their importance in later centuries. With the Cybertronics, they could share concussioness with each other and other units, which coupled with built-in great information processing capabilities gave them battlefield awareness far superior than any human soldiers before could dream of. Plasmaticas were never built for brute strength, and there were units that surpassed them in assault capability, but hardly anything could surpass their ability to defend well-prepared positions like cities. Plasmaticas got their name from plasma powered ion guns hardwired into their arms, but the choice of weaponry was not that important. Plasmaticas of other countries sometimes were based on androids or clones instead of humans, frequently featured reinforced endoskeletons, antigravity units and energy-beam weapons, but those weren't the defining traits of a Plasmatica; the most important by far were their information processing capabilities.
