Dimensional Physics turned human experience upside down in many ways, questioning or downright ridiculing common sense. Naturally, humans and their digital descendants were quick to adjust to this new paradigm and find application for the recently discovered phenomena. Perhaps the most direct application, but also the most ingenius, was the creation of THARXIS units: special compartments which more storage space than their external dimensions suggested. Although too expensive and power-consuming to be used extensively in civilian applications, this invention revolutionised military transport and intelligence. Its first significant use was the Marshall Incident, when Egyptian fleet managed to take Polynesian forces completely by surprise thanks to smuggling an entire battallion of old War Walkers in what appeared to be several fishing boats. This manouever put enough pressure on the Australian government to give the Egyptians settling rights on the Southern Pacific and had a significant impact on the undersea colonisation effort in the region.
